This IPA is a special release to coincide with a local non-profit groups annual fund-raiser. The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association is devoted to restoring and improving salmon habitat on the Nooksack River. The brewery hosts their largest fund-raiser of the year and this year brewed this batch of IPA featuring Chinook and Simcoe hops.
A good looking beer, that was a deeper amber than most IPAs, also had a solid 1 inch head that left nice lacing. A crisp aroma greeted the nose and the taste followed precisely.
This IPA had a little more body than the breweries regular IPA which upped my enjoyment. A nicely drinkable beer, but like most IPAs palate fatigue would set in after 3-4. Try this limited beer while you can.
