I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at Collins Pub in Seattle. It's a fresh-hop Sabro IPA.

Appearance: medium gold with a moderate haze and a finger of compact ivory foam atop, leaving a nice lace on the glass.

Smell: sweet malt with a pronounced Sabro mintiness. I like it, but if you are not familiar with Sabro it might be a bit surprising.

Taste: minty! The malt is sweet and I wonder if there's some diacetyl here, because it's also kind of buttery. I like the hops, though there is definitely a toothpaste kinda thing going on here.

Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: I like this beer, but the slight butteriness does take it down a peg for me.

Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a fully murky orange color with just under a half-inch of white head that had low retention and lacing.

The aroma was all sweet, semi-frooty hops, with no appreciable malt.

Same on the tongue, just hops.

The body was the typical light-medium of the style, smooth, and had a medium finish.

Drinkability was OK, it depends on ones fondness for Sabro hops.

Overall, being fresh-hopped is what saved this beer. Worth shot if you see it.
