Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a clean, clear medium gold color with 2/3 of an inch of white head that had OK retention and light lacing.
The aroma had a big blast of citrusy hops upfront, with some light malt in the background.
Same on the tongue, just better developed. There was no alcohol bite.
The body was medium-full, mostly smooth, with just a bit of coarseness.
Drinkability was good, it went down easy for a bigger beer.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable old-school type of ImpIPA. Worth trying if you see it.
