Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a clean, clear coppery gold color with a half-inch of white head that had good retention but no lacing.
The aroma had a solid malt base, grainy and not sweet, topped with bright hops, mostly citrus with some fruitiness and floral aspects.
The flavor profile was the same, just bigger, and better defined.
The body was maybe a touch on the full side of medium, smooth, even, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, the kind of beer you could easily grab a couple during a cookout.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable example of the style. Worth trying if you see it.
