This is beer brewed especially for Brouwers Cafe is Seattle. I was told that this is a one time brew, but if response is good they may put into a semi-regular rotation. As of now the beer is exclusively available for Brouwers, but will be put on tap at the brewery soon.
Served in 10oz glass, the beer poured a semi-hazy golden honey color, with a strong white head that had good retention and lacing. The aroma was very good, strong pine and citrus hops with just a hint of in the background.
The taste was also strongly hop forward with the piney hop flavor upfront and a citrusy finish, that lingered without being overly sticky. The body was good, smooth, easy and not sticky across the tongue. Drinkability was very freakin' good, I wanted another immediately, but my advance sample was gone, so no more for me.
Once this brew shows up on tap it's a must get if you're anywhere near Seattle or Bellingham.
