Light hazy orange with sunny edges and a nice off-white foam that stuck around for quite some time. A subdued floral and citrus hop aroma. Very malty upfront with a fairly big hop presence to balance it out. A light bittering lingers for a little while and trails off fairly quickly. Very even and smooth cask mouthfeel.
This is a good attempt at making a more balanced IPA. The malts were a little too forward for me but it did have a pleasant hop taste even if it did eventually get drowned out by the malts. It sure does look nice but unless you like your hops only momentarily bold then stick with their regular IPA.
