Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured the expected solid black color of the style with about a half-inch of tan head that good retention and light lacing.
The aroma had the solid base grain and roast that is expected, and the 2 different kinds of berries were subtle in the background. Pretty similar on the tongue, with the berries being a bit more notable, especially at the back of the palate.
The body was full and smooth, with a semi-sweet finish. Drinkability was good, it was an easy sipper. Overall, a solid brew. The berries were a bit subdued, but still worth a shot if you see it.
