This beer was brewed for the 30th Anniversary of Bellingham's local, independent bookstore, Village Books: http://villagebooks.com/ .
Served in straight pint glass at the brewery. Honestly this beer is only slightly different than the regular Scotch Ale. The appearance was the same, the aroma was smoother and not as sweet, the taste was not as sweet or as peaty, the body was thinner and smoother and the drinkability was much better. I could easily drink several of these, whereas having more than a couple of the regular Scotch is a chore.
As a limited release brew, I think you should hunt this down and try it as soon as possible.
