This is the latest in BB's Single Hop series, in which they use the same malt bill and only one hop, to showcase the hop profiles.
Served in straight pint glass. Poured a semi-cloudy orange-amber color. The beer had a thin cap of off-white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma was a very nice blend of malt and hops. The flavor was also a good balance of malt and hops. The beer was moderately hoppy and had a lingering hop taste.
The body was typical for the style, as was the drinkability. Overall, a decent little beer but not as good as some of the others in the series. Try it if you see it.
Edit 7/24/10: I tried a cask version of this yesterday at the brewery and found it to be much fuller and more well-rounded version of the beer. Still not as good as some of the beers in this series, but a decent beer nonetheless.
