Pour is fine, clean and rather more unfiltered than "hazy". Nose is subdued, but you get floral and woodsy notes which carry through to the taste. The body and feel are good, on the dry side. We're ok with the end result, but the finish ends with a bitter touch. While the style is listed as a hazy IPA, we seem to be wandering into Pale Ale territory. It's surely well received at the ballpark -- refreshing on a warm afternoon as the home team beer.

Clear amber brew, as in NOT hazy, with plenty of foam in the chalice. Pleasant citrus aroma. Lightweight and sharp on the tongue, but plenty of spritz. Modest sweetness and flavors of orange and grapefruit rind. This starts out seeming like it's not bad, but then it gets quite bitter and even astringent after some sipping. From the 12 oz can purchased in Bellingham. Not dated.

12oz can (dated 5/16/22) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fully murky dark orange color with 3/4 inch of white head that had moderate retention and light lacing.

The aroma was the typical frooty hops and minimal grain of the style. Same on the tongue; frooty hops, no bite, and very low grain.

The body was also typical, light, with a semi-sweet finish.

Drinkability was OK, but....

Overall, just another murkster.

Pours a cloudy, opaque, bright orange color. Thick, white foamy head forms on the beer, lingers for a moment then dissipates leaving a thin layer of foam on top of the beer. Aroma has bright notes of orange, tangerine, citrus, tropical fruit and some layered notes of pine, and fruit rind.

Taste follows the nose with notes of some light fruit notes - citrus and tropical fruits - with a strong malt backbone, strong pine notes on the finish with a moderate, but pleasant bitterness. Feel is light, easy drinking, moderately carbonated.

Overall this is absolutely the kind of beer Id want to crack while watching a baseball game on a warm summer evening. Go Bells!
