IMultiplayer Cold IPA, a collaboration with @gruffbrewing for the #washingtonbrewersguild, is a super combo of the hop-forward character of an IPA and the ultra-crispiness of a lager. This button-mashing Cold IPA’s bursting tropical aromas of coconut, mango and peach are crafted from El Dorado hops and a special blend from Yakima Chief Hops called Cryo Pop. Multiplayer Cold IPA’s moderate-to-pronounced bitterness levels up with a super crisp and clean finish. This limited release won’t lag, get it before it’s game over!

We brewed this Cold IPA with Gruff Brewing Company in reflection of a connected and collaborative industry, and to celebrate the WA beer lovers that help us take our craft to the next level.

Pours a mostly clear bright golden color. Thick, frothy white head forms then quickly dissipates. Aroma has notes of ripe tropical fruits - mango, papaya, berries, and strawberry - with some honey and light hoppy notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange, tangerine, strawberries, berries, and a grassy hop finish. It is a very clean and crisp profile. Mild bitterness. Feel is light, crisp, and really clean. Moderate carbonation. Semi-dry finish.

Overall, it is a very nice Cold IPA.

Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a lightly hazy yellow gold color with an inch of white head that had moderate retention and very light lacing.

Light grain and floral hops were dominant in the nose, with a touch of citrus bite in the background.

Similar on the palate, with the bite being a bit stronger.

The body was on the lighter side of medium, had good carb, and a medium-light finish.

Drinkability was good, I've had several, but not a beer that leaves ya craving another.

Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew. Worth trying if you see it.

Pours a beautiful golden color with a creamy white head that, much to my surprise, dissipates quickly and leaves no discernible lacing. The nose has some berry notes and a nice melon aroma, but there’s also an aroma that doesn’t fit that I can’t place - it’s almost like horseradish.

I know. I told you I couldn’t place it, but that’s what I got.

Thankfully, there is no horseradish on the taste, just a lot of delicious berry flavors and some melon as well. Really a tasty beer given where I thought it was headed from the nose.

The mouthfeel is medium and drying, on point for the style. When I caught a whiff of this, I was in “Uh oh” mode, but the flavor was something I’d revisit again and again. I just gotta plug my nose.
