Our classic IPA, Inside Passage Ale, first graced the PNW with its presence in 1996. The big malt backbone and a heavy dose of Amarillo hops lead the way for this true Northwest-style IPA.

Malts: 2-Row Pale | Munich | Carastan | Vienna
Hops: Centennial | Amarillo | Cascade

22 ounce bomber from the brewery - sad to see them closing in 2025.
Bright orange amber pour - a little short of clear, but far from hazy - with a finger plus of tight bubbly white head.
Aroma is certainly hop driven - woody, spicy, and earthy; some peach, orange peel, and floral notes.
Aggressively hoppy on he palate with orange peel, spicy hops, floral/honeysuckle favours, again a touch of woodiness, and an earthy bitterness, all tempered by a caramel malt sweetness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with active carbonation and a sticky lingering bittersweetness.

Canned 6/20. Beautiful pour, rich amber glow, crystal clear. Aroma is lightly floral with a definitely yeasty malt background. Tastes is a clean hop flavor over the malt base. Long, clean finish, a good sipping beer. The 7.5% ABV is well managed, not a trace of hotness. In look and taste, we have an excellent example of a classic NWIPA.

Medium light, fairly quickly receding, white head. Clear and deep amber/orange look to it. Moderate amount of nearly sweet spiced, malted and perfumed, Mandarin orange aroma with a touch of a rosy floral note to it. A light bodied, moderate bite of off-dry malted tangerine peel, for the main part of the taste with the barley malt and tangerine peel in tandem, for the peak of the taste. Finishes with medium malt and a sustained, light tangerine peel flavor and easy bite.
