Served in straight pint glass at the brewery. Poured a clean, clear brown with about an inch of white head (they were having problems pouring the beer this day), that had good retention and lacing.
There was a noticeable hop presence at the front of the nose, then the sweet malts showed up. The taste started out a bit sweet, then mellowed in a bit of grain and finished with a crisp hop tang.
The body was a bit thinner than I like to see in the style. Drinkability was good, I can foresee downing a bunch of these while they're on tap. Overall, a pretty good brew. Worth trying if you see it.
