Served in 10oz goblet directly from wooden firkin. This beer only spent a couple weeks in the barrel due to timing issues, so the wood and whiskey aspects were fairly faint. I could pick up a bit of the wheat whiskey flavors and am certain that more time in the wood would make this already tasty brew a much more wonderful treat.
The base beer is only brewed once a year, so hopefully next years batch will be ready soon enough for it to spend a few more weeks in the barrels. I look forward to it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
