This is the most recent release in BB's series of single hop pale ales, using the same recipe and just a single hop each time, this one the Apollo. Served in straight pint glass. Poured the same medium gold as the rest of the series, with about 3/4 inch of white head that had moderate retention and lacing.
The aroma had the nice grain malt base as most of the series and the Apollo had a mostly citrus scent with a slight tone. The flavor was pretty close, the citrus was a bit softer and the floral aspects added a bit of roundness to the flavor.
The body was typically medium. Drinkability was very good, a couple pints went down quickly and easily. Overall, a nice version of the beer and one certainly worth trying if you see it.
