A one-off version of the breweries Blonde Ale for Cinco de Mayo 2013. Different than previous versions of the Chili beer. Had the usual light golden yellow color of the base beer, with a thin cap of white head, low retention and lacing.
The aroma was the basic soft malty grains and gentle hops, with just a bit of a pepper kick at the back. The flavors were basically the same, typical Blonde at the front, peppers at the back and a bit of lingering pepper heat.
The body was the typical light-medium of the style. Drinkability was good, depending on how much you like Chili's. Overall, not bad for a novelty brew for CdM, but 1 was enough for me. YMMV.
