The latest in BB's Single Hop series of Pale Ales features the relatively new Calypso hop. Served in straight pint glass. Poured the usual medium gold yellow as the rest of the beers in the series, with about 1/2 inch of white head that had decent retention and light lacing.

The aroma was hop forward, with a distinct lemony scent, and a mild malt base. The taste, while still citrusy, wasn't as lemony as the aroma, and had a slight tart bitterness that I didn't expect from the nose.

The body was nicely medium, with a just off-dry finish. Drinkability was very good, as generally typical with the series, I expect to drink a bunch of these while available. Overall, a pretty nice brew, not worth a going out of your way for, but certainly worth having if you see it.
