This is actually the beer I'm drinking in my avatar as of March 5, 2008.
This brew came out looking quite nice. There was a good amount of off-white head, and very cream looking. The body was cloudy and had plenty of CO2 action going on. Lastly, the body is dark copper in color.
The aromas I detect are of cinnamon and a sort of metallic type of fragrance.
As for the taste, the metallic flavor comes through over any hops or malt. I believe this is due to the amount of yeast that is left behind.
This is not a complex beer at all and is meant to just be guzzled. It doesn't spur much thought and needs to be reformulated altogether. It's a decent session beer, but seems to be plagued by the brewpub scene here in das Deutchland. That is a helles lager with yeast left in it. It is an interesting concept, but doesn't do anything for the taste, but seemingly bastardize it a bit.
