Copenhagen 31/7 2024. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Metallic can with close up of a robot. Hoptimus Prime, I presume.
Pours opaque yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin, almost transparent patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a mild odor of Stone fruit mingling with sharp citrus fruit. Peach and apricot. Grapefruit and citrus. A bit of rubber peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while into a rather dry finish.
More a hoppy Bumblebee than a Hoptimus Prime.
