Copenhagen 22/9 2024. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. A vera wicked witch brewing a hoppe compound on the Can which is saturated in green color.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized head. Stable. Settles as thin and almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a sharper scent of citrus fruit. Peach and currants. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light fermented and sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Gentle and zesty.
