Our first ever Porter. Brewed as a collaboration with Ghost Brewing!
A lovely beer for the beginning of winter. Notes of hops, dark chocolate, coffee and toast.

Frederiksberg 4/8 2023. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big light beige head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark toasted malts mingling with a caramel bonanza. Toasted malts, toffee, caramel, hazelnut and a whiff of citrus fruit to lighten things up.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, creamy, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tartly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A pleasant nose followed by a rather tart and bewildering flavor.
