Copenhagen 24/10 2025. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. An old bearded wizard playing with his big cauldron of potions on the can.
Pours opaque hazy, golden orange with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 2,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a more subdued citric scent. Peach and hint of mango. Citrus and lime. Whiff of wheat.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lungers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A pretty good potion.
