Citrusy, but not too much. Caramely, just the right amount. Balanced, that's the word we are looking for. An American Pale Ale as you'd expect, a drinkable, light beer, but still full of character. Suitable at any point in time. Packed with tropical notes from Simcoe and Cascade hops, enriched with caramel malt and wrapped in the gentle bitterness of Chinook hops. A classic.

Copenhagen 11/8 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Colorful label with a tapestry of different patterns in different shades of blue, orange and white.
A bit foamy upon opening. Pours unclear, golden amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malts and sweet stone fruit mingling with a distinct citric scent. Sweet pale malts, peach and apricot. Grapefruit and lime.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Refreshing but a bit foamy.
