Beer brewed in collaboration with Gostilna Les. Uncomplicated, yet complex. Hop accented, with just the right amount of bitterness. With its drinkability and moderate alcohol content, it screams for more. Malty and hoppy flavours leave a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth, letting you know that Gorjan beer is special because it is brewed exclusively with the Slovenian hop varieties Magnum, Styrian Cardinal and Styrian Fox.

Copenhagen 9/8 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Colorful label with a tapestry of different patterns in green, white, brown and golden yellow.
Very foamy upon opening. The cap almost flew off. Pours unclear, pale yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense and a bit dampened by the foam. Sweet malts, malts and a bit of sugar mingling with a scent of yeast. Humid cellar. Whiff of citrus and grass.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry and sweetish.
Decent Blonde - but irritatingly foamy.
