Our single-decocted traditional Bavarian Dunkel's depth of character and malt-forward profile are perfectly balanced by Hallertauer hops. Brewed with German malted barley and horizontally lagered for authenticity. Prost!

Tried this at Little Beer 6 in Duluth, GA. I thought this was quite good. Balanced, bready, nutty, and not too much caramel. Semi-dry with a soft medium bodied mouth feel. It checked the style boxes nicely. I'd like to have full pint to "live" with it a little longer. Enjoyed it.

Had on tap. Light brown crystal clear body with a tan cap. Feel is the issue here: thin and light but it starts to venture into watery territory, malt driven with short lived yeast. Smells of caramel malts, lighter toned bread than usual for the style, with earthy and toasty accents. Taste the bread isn't as bright because it isn't really there, malty with caramel, earth, toast, and a whisper of fig.

Mahogany brown in color with excellent clarity. There’s a fingernail of creamy beige on top. Heavy lacing. There’s not much aroma here. I really tried to seek any out. I’m tasting caramel. The mouth is light, crisp m, and snappy.
