I tried this beer at the brewery. It poured a hazy brownish yellow with no head and lace. The scent had hints of vanilla bean. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with vanilla bean and belgian sugar presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Interesting brew that is quite drinkable. The vanilla is not too strong, and with the Belgian dry yeasty tang it's quite pleasant. Well, at least for a few sips. My favorite of the Babe's beers and I do mean that as faint praise.

A Belgian Golden Ale flavored with Madagascar vanilla beans aged on french oak
A - a slight hazed sunshine golden color with a 1 finger white head looks very nice
S- vanilla and oak with raisin and malt
T- sweet belgian golden ale with nice vanilla and oak tastes with euro hop influence very good
M- nicely carbonated with belgian yeast mild funk
O- liked this one with the vanilla oak and raisin and german and french hops
