I tried this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of honey. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with honey biscuit presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Light golden orange beer with a thin white head that fades quickly but hangs around the edges. The aroma is a lot of honey with wheat. There are some floral and bright citrus notes in there as well. The taste is honey and citrus with a grain flavor and some sweetness. There is a decent bitterness at the end to bring it all together. I am not really a honey fan but this is a quite drinkable honey beer.

Pale brew with a wispy foam in the big schooner. Honey taste is about as strong as I've ever had in a beer, and I don't mean that in a nice way.

Light flavor otherwise, light body, but definitely sweet. It's not quite icky, but it's a Blonde I don't want to get to know any better. On tap at the restaurant in Rancho Mirage.

Enjoyed at the brewpub.
Clear straw yellow with just a thin skim of white bubbles, mostly forming a collar - biker pour. There was some sticky and streaky lacing, fairly clingy. Not much of an aroma, a bit of grain, malt and honey sweetness. Low bitterness with floral honey sweetness, slight grassiness. Medium to light bodied with plenty of carbonation, a bit dry. Overall, clean and crisp, pretty basic but well executed and drinkable.

On-tap at Babe's

A: The pour is a rather light golden/yellow color with a short lived white head.

S: A somewhat mild nose, but at least it's not offensive. Floral and grassy hops with some nice pale malts and a light breadiness. There is definitely some corn and a hint of honey.

T: Overall, this is a pretty sweet beer. Pale and lightly bready malts with a nice hint of honey flavor. Some corn notes, but they're subdued, and a moderate floral and citrus quality.

M: Light to medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.

O: Easily one of the highlights of the Babe's lineup (that's somewhat facetious).

Sampled 4/23/2011 at the brewpub.

Pours clear, light yellow, tall white head, good lacing, plenty of retention.

Aroma is honey, sweet corn, malt, and a hint of pine.

Flavor is heavy on the honey and malt followed by corn, sugar, and lastly a tiny bit of grass and citrus. Medium bitterness. Interesting but too sweet.

Body is slightly heavier than it should be but it's not bad. Drinkable but may be too sweet for a lot of people.
