Drageblod is Skuldborg Bryghus’ brown ale. A dark and viscous beer - just like the Skuldborg Blood that runs in the veins of the dragons Gorm & Bent - known from the city’s coat of arms. If you spill a drop of Drageblod on your clothes, you might as well throw it away.

Copenhagen 24/11 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Black can with a burning red label in the center.
Pours opaque, murky dark brown with a mid-sized ooff.white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and a bit sugary odor. Sweet biscuits and chocolate. Toasted dark malts. Dark bread. Brown sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of nuts. Light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is tad sugary.
Sweet, toasted take on a Brown Ale.
