Copenhagen 5/2 2023. 33 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Super classic beer label with with a touch of fantasy with some Dragons and a bonfire.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - murky amber with a big white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty, toasted scent. Caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Whiff of brown sugar. Hints of sweet oranges.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry and sweet.
Pretty decent for a beer that has evolved from a podcast about a fictional radio program based in Skuldborg.
