Pours an effervescent chestnut with one finger of beige head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Roasty & cocoa notes once warmed up
T: Pretty roasty, dryness, woody hops & Baker's Chocolate up front. Roasty, dry with cocoa & Baker's Chocolate as this beer warms up, more woody hops. Finishes dry, toasty, with cocoa & some char notes
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
Good take on the style, carbonation seems to be a bugaboo for these guy's beers in crowlers though
