D:6 is a cold-fermented, smooth, malt-forward Baltic Porter with nuances of caramel, dark fruits and a lightly roasted finish. Hopped with the Polish variety Magnat for a gentle rustic bitterness.

Pours opaque dark brown with a big light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as meagre small patches of foam floating about. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense wit a lightly sweet malty odor mingling with earthy fumes. Dark roasted malts and toffee. Bitter dark chocolate. Hints of tobacco and compost.

Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Flavorful without being imperial.
