X:4 is a strong Winter Ale brewed for Christmas 2024.
The beer is amber-brown with a firm malt backbone and a medium-dry finish.
We added sweet orange peel and a touch of cardamom to compliment the malt and create the perfect sipper for those cold winter nights.

Copenhagen 20/4 2026. 33 cl bottle from Beershoppen web-shop. Dark green label in BLAS' usual design with the name and description of the beer in white letters. Some red Christmas caps to recognize that this is a Christmas beer.
Pours clear dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Stable. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark malts and fruit ningling with sweet spice. Dark toasted malts, caramel and hint of brown sugar. Pronounced scent of cardamom. But the orange peel is quite subdued.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry with a touch of cardamom.
Goes all in on the cardamom but avoids getting too sweet.
