Pale ale inspired by the beautiful nature around Kolding. We imagine it would be perfect to drink at Skamlingsbanken, where you can enjoy the view over Kolding municipality.
Solstrejf over Skamlingen is a fruity pale ale, with a full malt composition. In this beer, we have given full throttle to the citra hops, which give notes of tropical fruits, lime and grapefruit.

Copenhagen 22/4 2023. 50 cl bottle from BeerShoppen web-shop. Kolding Gårdbryggeri's usual labeldesign with a photo of Skamlingbanken.
Pours opaque murky amber with a big white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a dry scent of citrus frit. Sweet peach and apricot. Grapefruit and pine. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Refreshing and pretty light.
