JutlanIPA comes from the word “Jutlandia”, which means Jutland. With JutlanIPA we want to pay tribute to our Jutlandic origins, and send a loving greeting to all Jutlanders living here and those in exile. JutlanIPA is a full-bodied IPA hopped with Citra, Idaho 7 and Galaxy. It has some sweetness and a pleasant bitterness with fruity notes in the aroma and taste.

Copenhagen 11/4 2023. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Close up of a Hop flower on the label.
Pours opaque, hazy golden orange with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor og stone fruits mingling with sweet orange and tart citrus. Peach and apricot. Grapefruit and blood orange.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, silken, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is tartly bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Smooth pleasant and well balanced NEIPA.
