Poured from 500mL can into a kitchen glass. Best by 3/9/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a finger of foam and a lazy effervescence.
Smell: a combination of wet grain and sweet malt, and though it's light, it's not necessarily bad. I mean, you know, for store brand macro lager.
Taste: malt is a bit too sweet, but there are no crazy adjunct-ey flavors here ... it's not great or anything but far from the worse lager I've had.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a lightish carbonation and okay fizziness.
Overall: I don't love this beer, but for cheap-ass pale lagers, I'd rather have this than almost anything else in the segment.

Pretty good for a beer from Penny. Smells and tastes like apples, free from all the foul taste EU pale lagers have. Of course the rating is all relative but it is good enough for what it is, a cheap beer.
