Sneaky - they call it a saturated hoppy ale, avoiding the IPA moniker on the package, but this is clearly (very hazily) an imperial hazy IPA.
Pours a somewhat milky very hazy pale yellow golden with two fingers of creamy head that drifts to a rocky, foamy cap. Chalky residue on the glass bottom.
Grapefruit and pine initially on the nose, some dank and herbal notes, hints of white wine - as warmed, a touch sweaty.
Sweet citrus, tropical fruit, and again a white wine, grape note on the palate - dank, resinous pine with a leafy herbal bitterness.
Creamy medium full mouthfeel with bright tingling carbonation - lingering bitterness.
