Two year old spontaneous beer brewed in the danish winter with ancient grains from Thy. Then blended with danish strawberries for 1 month and carbonated to a creamy and delicate mouthfeel.

Copenhagen 14/1 2024. 75 cl bottle with both a cork and a cap from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Better safe than sorry. Delicate flowers from the strawberry plant on the label.
Pours opaque unclear brownish red with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Disappears completely after 15 seconds. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of sweet berries mingling with a stronger, tart and sour scent. Sweet strawberry, tart gooseberries and citrus. Subdued whiff of vinegar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a mild sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Not exactly pretty - but a fine sour fruit bowl.
