I found this place on Google maps. They offer "craft and trappist beers", boasting that they are one of only a handful of bars in the city to serve Roman trappist Tre Fontane eucalyptus-infused tripel.
The small place was packed. We discovered that personable owner Giovanni Poggi's 34 year old establishment had evolved into a Pittsburgh, PA shrine, with Steelers and other Pittsburgh memorabilia plastered all over the walls. The Pittsburgh tourist family at the next table was reveling in the fact that they had attended some of the schools represented in the display.
Eight draft beers were offered, a varied style mashup from small Italian producers. There were also some bottled trappist beers on the menu. It has a friendly, dive-y vibe. The walls had shelves to the ceiling filled with beer and liquor bottles.
