I had this beer on-tap in a half-liter dimpled mug at the brewery in Balatonföldvár.
Appearance: medium golden hue with just a dash of haze and a strong effervescence and a thick head of ivory foam.
Smell: malt is on the sweet side with what seems to me like a pronounced honey character. Maybe not entirely traditional, but I like it!
Taste: sweet, soft malt with a nice yeast character and just a dash of bitterness. Again, maybe not quite traditional, but I'm enjoying it!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess!
Overall: this feels more filling than most kölsches, nevertheless I'm digging it.
