I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Munich. This is labeled as a “hazy pale ale”.

Appearance: darkish golden hue with plenty of haze and a finger of creamy dark-ivory foam atop.

Smell: sweet aroma with a super berry like character. It’s interesting and not too typical of a hazy, but not too bad.

Taste: fruity, kind of with that berry character and maybe some muted passionfruit. A bit on the sweet side, and the flavors just don’t quite come together for me.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a good creaminess.

Overall: there’s something in this beer that doesn’t quite jibe with me — I dunno, maybe berry character doesn’t just grab me.
