Poured from 330mL can into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 3/15/26.
Appearance: golden-amber hue with a dash of haze and a ton of visible effervescence. Head is two fingers of frothy dark-ivory foam. Very nice indeed!
Smell: a nice bready and slightly biscuity malt aroma, backed by a nice yeastiness. A good execution of a märzen.
Taste: like the aroma, malt is bready, a little bit caramelly, and a little bit biscuity. Bitterness is earthy and nicely balanced. And just like the aroma, it’s a good example of the style.
Mouthfeel: medium body with agood carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a really solid exmaple of the style. I could do with a bit less biscuitiness, but you know, that just comes with the märzen territory.
