When opening the can, it fizzed out, indicating an elevated carbonation level. It does create a dense, slowly dying head. Some chunky 3D lacing remains on the glass.
The smell features green apple, light malt sugar, and a bit of a fruit perfume. It’s attractive if a little sweet for an IPA.
Strong pineapple flavor up front. It even has some of that pineapple sweetness on the tongue. This gives way to a white pepper hop bitterness. Spritzy as noted in the appearance with a neutral body. The aftertaste lasts shorter than expected and leans to the bitter side, but there’s some balance to it.
