A gin fizz inspired refreshing and drinkable Nu Sour Ale fermented with Sicilian lemons, key lime purée, a blend of well selected gin botanicals; juniper berries, Norwegian angelica roots, coriander seeds, ginger, rosemary and Pakistani diamond salt.

Poured from 330mL can into my Lord Chambray tumbler. Best by 1/27/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a finger of ivory foam that dissipates relatively quickly.
Smell: tart and quite lemony right up front, with a deep bench of earthy aromas underneath. It took me a second to cotton to, but now I rather like it.
Taste: way more herby and botanical than the aroma; very earthy and definitely complex. There's plenty of tartness right up front, but the lemon flavor itself sort of follows on after the botanicals. A very interesting flavor profile that, like the aroma, is growing on me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a light carbonation; not too creamy.
Overall: this beer has an interesting ingredient list, with a lot of stuff going on, but it doesn't feel muddled or confused. The lemon takes the stage, though, for sure. I like this ... it's weird.
