Copenhagen 30/12 2019. 50 cl bottle from Bornholmerbutikken, Torvehallerne, Kbh. K. Small Batch’ usual label design with the hanging hop flower. This time in dark blue.
Slow gusher upon opening. Pours unclear amber with a big white head. Kind of bubbly. Settles as thin, frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, sweetish fruity and with light citric notes. Peach and pineapple. Hints of caramel. Tart notes. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bit thin. Citric bitter. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Decent but nothing out of the ordinary. But then again they call it a “Every Day IPA”.
