Full body, character and pleasant sweetness. It is round and soft in taste. The color is brown and reddish like dark copper. The traditional malty taste is complemented by pleasant touches of caramel and chocolate. A bock goes well with many types of food, and it is particularly good for the cold table. We like to drink it for Easter lunch, for summer barbecues.

Copenhagen 30/4 2023. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. Østergade, Middelfart. Green label with cartoonish, singing parrots.
Pours unclear maroon with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, sugary odor of malt mingling with a bit of nuts and a whiff of sour grains. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Hazelnuts.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong, malty sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and a little sticky.
Sweet and a bit sticky.
