Erdinger Weissbräu “ Erdinger Stiftungsbrau Hell”
,5L/€4,40 vom fass @ L’Osteria, Esslingen, DE
Notes: Crystal clear gold body beneath a full head of bright white. Very good head retention and lacing with wide rings of craggy lace. Aroma of doughy and grainy sweet malt and herbal and mildly spicy hops. The flavor follows with a little more spiciness added in. The malt is sweet but balanced by a firm bitterness that leaves it mostly dry with a short finish as the malt fades readily. Medium to medium full in body and crisp with a standard carbonation level. A full flavored, malty helles.
