330ml bottle here in Bavaria. Pours an yellow-tan tone from a cool looking bottle, with a considerable white foam head. An aroma with a considerable mix of hops and malt is lightly perceivable, and the taste, aged and slightly carbonated, is very similar, leaving behind a good mouthfeel. its drinkability is also good. However, the bottle is its most commendable trait.

Rerate, 330 ml fresh bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger: Hazy golden colour, fizzy head. The aroma is far less appealing than other hefe-weissbiers, but is not really unpleasant. The flavour is much better than the first time I had it, typical hefeweizen characteristics, but more subdued than normal for the style. Still a refreshing beer.
Original rating (total score 1.5): The bottle I had was outdated 2 weeks ago, and was not stored cool at my retailer’s like it ought to be. Cloudy brew with a far-from-appetizing lumpy sediment. Unpleasant aroma. A major disappointment.

This is not a great hefe bier. It is okay, but the feel and taste and overall aroma is really just average in my opinion. It is not a horrible beer but I cannot say I will seek it out again.

This is an unusual beer. It's a bit sweet, even for a Hefe. It's designed to be consumed straight from the bottle and has a bottle opener built into the bottom of each bottle. When I rode the trains with my German friends, they insisted that this was the only Hefe that could be consumed on the go! Oh, and make sure that after you pop the cap, swirl the bottle vigorously before the first sip to ensure that the yeast and sediment are evenly distributed.

Bread/yeast and citrus/lemons in aroma, although relatively faint. The flavor is lemons, yeast and grainy malts.
