I discovered Wunder Sörművek ("Wunder Beer Works") completely by accident when I found the place I had intended to go way too busy. I'm super glad I stumbled on this place -- it's down in a basement, with a definite dank cellar character, but a really welcoming and convivial pub vibe. I sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders, who were gregarious and appreciative of my limited Hungarian (though English would also not be a problem).
The tap selection wasn't huge, but there was a well-curated list of Hungarian craft beers along with some British and German favorites. They also have a fridge with cans and bottles for on-site consumption or takeaway -- maybe 50 or so. They have a full bar as well, with a particular focus on a large whiskey selection.
I had a great time at Wunder Sörművek and highly recommend it. I'll definitely be returning the next time I am in the neighborhood.
