Tasted this beer by half-pint at the Market Porter recently.
It pours a hazy, dark reddish-brown hue, with no beer head at all on top of a rather flat body. The nose is slightly tart-nutty and mild pear-juicy. On the palate there comes upfront a refreshing taste of mild nuttiness, with a tart-pear juicy body leading to a slightly sour fruity finish, with very little aftertaste. The mouthfeel is slightly flat, while the body is at best thin or simple... too timid in terms of taste and body to be enjoyable.
