On the southwest corner of the Osaka Castle park is a little drive up shopping area with a burger place, three coffee shops, and this place. From the road it looks like an industrial area because the store fronts face the park not the parking lot.
Beer & Play Station is located on left side as you face the parking lot. It is tiny with very little seating (none inside and 4 outside). Although they have 4 of their own beers on tap, this seems more like a beer store even though they have only one standup fridge to the side.
2 of the 3 beers I had were worthwhile, while the third missed the mark. The staff spoke very little English and relied on English menus to explain the choices. It was counter service, so I bought each beer individually. I didn't see any offers for flights.
One positive thing about this area was the coffee shops let us sit in their area (my wife ordered a dessert and coffee). So we were constrained by the (very) limited seating which by the way was all taken.
Although I wouldn't go out my way to visit, this is a convenient stop after viewing the castle. I would definitely recommend a stop after a hot day of touring the park.
